My favorite Big Game was when I was 12. I don’t remember who was playing but that was when I learned a lot of the rules and how it was played. My dad was pretty patient with me that day trying to explain it all to me while also trying to watch the game!

  2. Ann H says:

A friend invited us to come to a Super Bowl Party, but he had DISH and didn’t get the game!

  3. William Wilson says:

When I was a kid I my dad got box tickets to a Dallas Cowboys game (late 1970s). I haven’t had box seats since. Maybe one day.

The last superbowl, my team won! It was so exciting!, hands down my favorite big game moment ever

Every year when I was little, it was a big event! Mom would make all kinds of yummy food, and I’d curl up on the couch with dad, not really paying attention, but rooting along with him 🙂

  6. Janice Pittenger says:

The best place to watch the game is at home with a great TV.

  7. Tim says:

Growing up in Thailand we would get up at 5 a.m. to watch the Superbowl live and get to skip classes on Monday morning! The TV and reception quality were terrible back then but we had fun with our Superbowl breakfast.

  8. Donald Almendarez says:

Family and friends always get together for the BIG GAME – snack and drinks are plentiful – good company – good food – good game (especially when the Broncos win)!

  17. Julie Harris says:

My favorite big game memory wasn’t really about the game itself but of the time spent with family and friends and the drinks and snacks we enjoyed together, I can remember how everyone came with their own special dish they prepared, and how my mothers cheese ball was always the first thing to be eaten lol, someone would always have too much to drink and would get loud or have to sleep it off.

  18. Jennifer H. says:

We were in Maui watching the big game the year that Janet Jackson had the “wardrobe malfunction”.

  19. Ashley says:

Watching the super bowl last year at a friends house. It was so boring and not an excited game we ended up playing card and board games.

  20. Amy M. says:

2 years ago on Superbowl Sunday, we had a game, of what was supposed to be, friendly football. My husband ended up tearing his poor ACL in the middle of it, and our entire party escorted us to Urgent Care, where we all finished watching the game with the hospital staff. Definitely an unforgettable Superbowl!

Living in Seattle, you probably won’t be surprised that my favorite Big Game memory was in 2014. To say this town was on fire – leading up to, during and after that momentous day – is an understatement. We watched it on a big screen TV while munching on chips and salsa, devouring home-smoked ribs, and washing it all down with our favorite Northwest microbrew!

I was living abroad and my team was going to the Big Game! Of course I had to watch it so I looked all over the city to find somewhere that was showing it. It didn’t start until very late and I had to go into work the next morning on very little sleep, but it was definitely worth it!

  37. Jim Wood says:

I’m a New Yorker living in Texas. In the early 90’s, I was surrounded by Oiler’s or Cowboy fans. So the Buffalo Bills came to my rescue (the only NY team…the other teams play in NJ). They where 30 something down against Houston, in the playoffs, came back and won. But I did have to eat crow; they lost 4 years in a row at “the Big Game”; but they were the second best team in the world.
