16 Swivel TV Ideas for Open Floor Plans (One TV, Every Seat)
Open floor plans are great for everything except the TV. Mount it facing the sofa and the kitchen gets a side view. Angle it for the kitchen and the couch loses.
A 360 degree swivel TV lift cabinet fixes that. The TV rises out of a real piece of furniture, then turns to face whoever is watching. When you are done it lowers out of sight and you get your room back. Every cabinet here is finished on all four sides, so it can float in the middle of a room, and most roll on hidden casters. Here are 16 ideas for where and how to use one, plus a placement checklist at the end.
1. Face the Kitchen Island While You Cook
Dinner prep goes faster with the game on. Park the Azura in Chestnut at the edge of the living area and swing the TV toward the island while you cook, then back toward the sofa once the plates are down. One reviewer called it a game changer, with smooth swivel action and excellent build quality.
