  1. Build Custom. Use Our Lift Mechanism.

Did you know that you can purchase our lift machines separate from the cabinets? For custom projects, customers have purchased just our lift machines.  Our lifts have been used on boats, inside pony walls, built within antiques and even used in retail displays.

  2. Verizon and AT&T Capping Data Plans

Verizon and AT&T are rethinking how they package their unlimited data plans.  Everyday more and more Americans are using data to stream content to their TV lift cabinets, laptops, and smart phones.  With more data usage being consumed, AT&T and Verizon have decided to do away with their unlimited data plans.

Verizon announced this week that they are moving their unlimited data customers to capped data plans.  They did not mention the capped usage amount and pricing for capped plans.  AT&T has decided to be slightly more generous.  They will allow folks who already have unlimited data plans to be grandfathered in, but all new subscribers will have capped plans.  The AT&T unlimited data plan customers that use a large amount of data will however, see their data being cut off or “throttled”.

Sprint is the only large wireless carrier that will still offer an unlimited plan.  Sprint has been struggling in the last few years with poor network coverage resulting in losing customers

  7. Microsoft Offering $99 Xbox 360 with Subscription Plan

If you are looking for a great gaming console to store within your TV lift cabinet, you may be interested to know that Microsoft is now offering the Xbox for only $99 plus a subscription fee.   Currently, Xbox and other gaming consoles cost around $299.  This is a hefty price tag for consumers to pay out.  Many are not able to pay this upfront cost.  To get around this hurdle, Microsoft is now offering this affordable subscription plan.

Consumers will have to pay a $99 initial fee to get Xbox 360 and then commit to a two year contract.  The subscription fee per month is $15.  The $99 price tag is a much more manageable number for consumers to handle than $299.  Microsoft is hoping this pricing strategy will lure in more customers and increase their Xbox sales.

Now for those who enjoy crunching numbers, you may have already figured out that the cost of owning an Xbox will amount to $459 with this new pricing strategy whereas it is only $299 without subscription.  However,

  10. Jawbone Releases the Big Jambox Bluetooth Speaker

Jawbone experienced great success with their original Jambox speaker.  Due to this success, the company decided to make modifications to its Jambox Bluetooth speaker to introduce the Big Jambox.  The Big Jambox is larger than its predecessor, measuring at 10” W x 3.5” H x 3.1” D.  While not small enough to fit within a coat pocket, it can fit comfortably inside TV lift cabinets or in cars.

The Big Jambox produces amazing sound quality.  As Jawbone’s VP, Travis Bogard stated “Sometimes, there are situations where you want more sound”.  That is exactly what the Big Jambox delivers.

The Big Jambox has six command buttons compared to the original Jambox’s three.  The command buttons are the talk/Jambox button, play/pause, previous and next, and the up and down volume buttons.  The Big Jambox also has a Bluetooth pairing button, a 3.5mm stereo auxiliary input jack, a Micro USB port, and a power adapter jack.  The Bluetooth button can be connected with Apple products (iPhone,
