The new Seagate TV Lift starting at only $1999
The New Year is a great time to make drastic changes in your life. It's an easily noted marker where you can start resolutions, break old habits, or just try to improve your day-to-day life. Some bloggers suggest adding a TV lift cabinet into the equation to improve the strength of their resolutions. For example, adding a TV lift into your exercise room can motivate you to spend more time on the treadmill or elliptical watching TV and getting the exercise you've promised.
Others have thrown out the idea that having a foot of the bed lift on a timer will motivate you to go to sleep on time. When the TV turns off and retracts, you know it's time to go to sleep! Sometimes that extra step will keep you from turning it back on when you know you should be sleeping. Installing a TV lift into your kitchen is also a good way to motivate you to spend more time cooking. This is a great way to save money and eat healthier, but is also

360 Degree Swivel Mechanism
There has been an increase over the past few years in the popularity of DIY and home designed devices or “hacks,” and home entertainment is often the home of these private innovations. At TVLiftCabinet.com, we try to offer a TV lift cabinet for every possible implementation or use, but sometimes people just want the bare bones of a TV lift to customize into whatever project they have in mind. For this, we sell bare mechanisms, designed for the minimalist or DIYer in mind.
Our lifts, just like our TV lift cabinets, are designed to rigorous standards and tested for 20+ years of use and are 100% UL recognized (the gold standard in safety), making sure that your TV won't take an unfortunate spill. In addition to being extremely safe and easy to operate, our TV lifts are ultra quiet (due to a self lubricating gear system) and are set up easily with only two bolts. Typical installation is somewhere around 10 minutes. Built in safety features include surge and thermal

Samsung's new bendable 105" TV
Each year, the Consumer Electronics Expo (CES) exhibits the latest and greatest in the field of consumer technology, not the least of which are often the biggest and best new TVs. Both Samsung and Sony are releasing revolutionary new designs this year in the form of Samsung's 105 inch Curved UHD TV (and its 85 inch smaller model) and Sony's new Bravia UHD TVs.
Both of these new models are revolutionary not because of their size and resolution (both of which are very notable), but because of the advances being made toward creating lifelike graphics on screen. The market for televisions was briefly disrupted over the last few years by the popularization of 3D movies and, subsequently, home 3D TVs. However, this trend was considered a fad and abruptly slowed within a few years. During that period, the advances in HDTVs also slowed, but the trend seems to have reversed this year.
In addition to more lifelike displays, Sony proudly boasts that their new TVs are
Though we have numerous options for TV lift cabinets that are styled in almost any imaginable configuration, color, or size, sometimes only a unique size and style is what a customer wants. Usually the process of commissioning custom furniture is complex and not as simple as simply buying an “off -the-shelf” product. However, at TVLiftCabinet.com, we have streamlined the process to make it almost as simple as buying our most popular styles, but without the restraints inherent in buying something prebuilt. Our designers have years of experience creating custom furniture to suit any design or style, no matter how unique.
Our cabinets are built 100% from scratch and can be customized in many different ways. Stock cabinets come in custom sizes starting at only a 30% upcharge and custom finishing of a stock cabinet starts at $299.00. If simply purchasing a custom finish, all that is required is that you send us a swatch or choose from our stock color options. Once you've decided that you
Are you a road warrior who enjoys the comforts of home? One of the biggest sacrifices of people who travel the world is the lack of space, which limits the luxury you can bring with you on your adventures. Recreational vehicles have exploded in popularity over the last several years, especially the type that is essentially a rolling luxury home. Many of these RVs have amenities such as granite countertops, hardwood floors, and all sorts of other perks to replicate the experience of being at home on the go. But did you know that many of the benefits of having a TV lift cabinet in your den, living room, or bedroom can be multiplied when in a particularly cramped space, such as an RV.
We talk a lot about saving space and adding convenience by adding a TV lift, and with the constraints of space, an RV is a perfect place to take advantage of compact and convenient nature of a TV lift (not to mention the luxury). Driving around, it is unsafe to have a TV loose and sitting on top of an entertainment

With the rise of IKEA and other bigbox furniture stores, a modern design aesthetic has become very prevalent in interior design circles. Minimalism, lots of solid colors, and/or a simplicity of trim styles seem to dominate hotel rooms and trendy decoration. A lot of emphasis in the TV lift furniture field is put on blending cabinet designs with existing décor or old fashioned aesthetic. Sometimes customers think that these are the only options available. Sure, many selling points for TV lift cabinets come from how flawlessly they can be made to blend into an existing design, but this doesn't necessarily mean that the designs must be old fashioned and boring! Many people have a modern design aesthetic that they would like to maintain for all of their furniture, not just their tables and chairs.
Fortunately, we are well aware of the difference in taste and aesthetic amongst our customer base. TVLiftcabinet.com offers designs as diverse as a brown Swedish leather upholstered cabinet or
Sometimes upgrading your living room or den means going all out. For these moments, and especially around the holidays, we recommend a TV lift cabinet with a built-in fireplace. Both the Huntington Electric Fireplace and Remington Brown (Electric Fireplace) models feature an electric heater built in to the body of the cabinet. In addition to producing heat (and concealing your TV, of course), both of these cabinets have a firebox with a realistic fire that can be activated with the touch of a button.
A lot of customers worry about whether or not the electric firebox is going to overheat their TV or other A/V components. This is, of course, a chief concern in the design of these cabinets. Our designers have come up with a solution that separates the firebox from the rest of the cabinet with a partition wall designed to absorb heat and allow the TV to remain cool and well ventilated, even when enclosed in the cabinet. In addition, each cabinet comes with many features to store and utilize
One of the biggest markets for TV lift cabinets and other functional TV furniture is the hospitality industry. A great way to maximize the space in hotel rooms and add to the novelty of the guest's experience. In many cases, having a TV lift cabinet in a hotel room adds a level of luxury to the trip that the guest may not be familiar with at home.
For hotels that want to cut costs and don't have the budget or inclination to put a TV lift cabinet in every room, we recommend equipping suites and luxury rooms with TV lift furniture. In addition, it's always a nice touch to add an adjustable TV lift in all handicapped rooms. Motorized lifts do wonders for adding class to a room and can certainly enhance the novelty factor of a guest's vacation.
In addition, oftentimes hotels have a set collection of furniture or a stylistic theme that is maintained throughout the premises. Many hotels focus on modern luxury while others sell a retro-styled experience. Both can take advantage of having a motorized
Bigger is not always better when it comes to home electronics. In many cases, the biggest TV that will fit in a space will absolutely dominate the room and impede decoration and even the ability to move around in the remainder of the space. With that in mind, it is possible to fit a 65” to 75” wide TV in a TV lift cabinet with no difficulty. Be aware that many TV measurements advertise the diagonal measurement of the screen rather than the full dimensions of the unit. These full dimensions are what are most important when measuring for a TV lift or full TV lift cabinet. In many cases, consolidating electronics into a self-contained, versatile cabinet can increase the amount of available space in a room.
When measuring your television, first, place the top of the tape in upper left corner of the case (not just the screen), and extend to the lower left corner. Make sure to include the speakers or any other pieces attached to the case. Record this measurement as the height.
Second, take the
