The lasting effects of the pandemic continue to influence home decor trends. Certain types of furniture, particularly the multi-purpose segment, which includes space savers like hidden TV lift cabinets, study tables, coffee tables with storage, etc.,  have become very relevant.  The logic is quite clear, as is the verdict of the customers- that changing times demand changes at home.

    1. New furniture- With remote work and online studies becoming a necessity rather than a choice,  households have had to undergo changes to make space for everyone.   Previously unused areas have been converted into usable home offices and  study areas.  This new arrangement has opened up the mindset to a little bit of experimentation with new furniture, especially the kind that serves more than one purpose,  like the hidden TV lift cabinets that are suitable for any space.
    2. Clutter- Since the hidden TV lift cabinet takes charge of the TV, the gadgets, the accessories and the wiring, it clears

  2. 5 Home office upgrades for greater productivity

None of us really thought much of the home office until 2020 made us all give it a serious thought. To many, the home office is the dining table, the couch, or even the bed, but given the number of work hours, none of these spots is recommended. You need a setup that works for your health, while you are at work.

Here are a few changes or upgrades that can help make work more pleasant and life easier.

    1.  Ergonomic chair- Get off the couch and get yourself an ergonomic chair. Obviously you will need to pair it with a table and that will straighten things out for you on the health front. An ergonomic chair helps retain the normal alignment of the body, and so reduces stress build up in the shoulders and back. If you can avoid pain and improve your average workday, why not?
    2. Ergonomic keyboard- With most of us extensively using computers and  laptops, there is a fair deal of typing involved. Continuous pressure build up on the median nerve in the wrist leads to the Carpal tunnel syndrome.

  5. Why is freestanding furniture trending?

    What is freestanding furniture?

Freestanding furniture includes all those pieces of furniture that simply need to be placed rather than fixed to the floor or the walls.  It includes all the stuff that needs no bolting or screwing in.  Think bookshelves,  storage cabinets,  media consoles,  and even hidden TV lift cabinets.  Inbuilt wardrobes are not freestanding because they are fixed to the wall.

What makes freestanding furniture so fancy?

Freestanding furniture is trending simply because they let you make the most out of your space and decor.  They offer a lot of versatility in terms of styling.  For instance, you can easily move a hidden TV lift cabinet or an ornate chest of drawers from one part of the room to another, or if you please, to another room altogether.  Now imagine doing that with a shelf that has been installed on your living room wall.  There is no way you can remove the shelf without leaving holes in the wall.  That is precisely the advantage

  6. Top 5 Reasons People Buy Furniture

Everyone needs to buy furniture once in a while, yet it isn't something you'd buy everyday.  So why do people really need to buy furniture?

    1. For life events- Major life events come with major changes as well.  So, if you are shifting out of home for studies or work, getting married, or having a baby, you will definitely need appropriate furniture to deal with these events and phases.  The furniture at a bachelor’s place is a lot different from that at a couple’s.
    2. For greater practicality- Some pieces of furniture lose their usefulness with time.  For instance, when the baby outgrows the crib, there’s just so much you can do with it.  At best you can use it to dump stuff into, but that’ll soon become an eyesore.  Eventually you will need to get rid of it even if it is a convertible crib.  In fact Covid-19 has seen households spend a considerable amount on adapting common areas like the family room, by adding flexible seating and space-saving entertainment systems, housed

  7. Common misconceptions about TV lift cabinets

Want to buy a TV lift cabinet but are confused?  Worried about disrupting the home layout or cramping up the space?  Got any more questions?  Let's clear the air about each of these common misconceptions about TV lift cabinets.

    1.  Too expensive-  When everything you do is for the family and yourself,  why not make a conscious decision to increase safety around the house?  Cut down on wires, and add a piece of furniture that is a one time buy,  sturdy enough to last you a lifetime.  A TV lift cabinet is one of those products that quietly hold their ground,  functioning smoothly, standing as a reminder of your love for the family.  After all, can you possibly put a price tag on safety?  Plus most families spend a lot of time being entertained by their TV, so why not invest in a great setup?
    2. Take up too much space- They sound huge, but the truth is that TV lift cabinets are great space savers.  It is at times the only way to fit a TV into a tiny room.  The End of

  8. Brilliant TV cover-up ideas

Once a TV sneaks into your household you know it's there to stay, no matter how many times you want to see it gone. The only thing you can do is hide it. Put something on it, put it behind something or put it into something. You do have quite a handful of options, when it comes to hiding your TV.

One idea is to let a vintage map unfurl right in front of the TV. If you have your measurements right, you could actually find a map that can completely cover the TV. So, people only see the interesting map, and have no clue about the TV hiding behind it!  One thing though, this idea works only for wall mounted TVs, and not for ones sitting on an entertainment console. That’d be more than a bit odd.

If you do not have sufficient wall space, you could consider playing around with furniture.  Think of panels and doors, cabinets and wardrobes. Though not a very common idea, you could even house your TV inside your wardrobe and shut the door when you are done watching.  That way the big black

  9. 7 SMART Ways to HIDE YOUR TV!

There are times when you want your TV to disappear, but don’t know where to find the magical wand. Well, here’s the good news- you don’t need a wand. All you need is some motivation and some research on how to disguise your TV. We’ve got 7 different strategies for you to try.

1.)  Put it behind a panel- The easiest way to hide a big, black hole is to cover it up, not with a piece of cloth, but with a modern sliding panel. Whenever you want to watch TV, simply slide the panel away to one side, and when you want the TV gone, slide the panel in front of the TV. This works best when you have a bunch of shelves right next to the TV, because the panel will need space to slide around. With the TV out of sight, the attention then goes to the shelves.

2.)  Get attention away from the TV- Some designers feel that you don’t quite need to hide the TV, but need to strategize on getting the focus away from a visibly big TV. They feel that adding extra large accessories around the TV will draw attention

  10. TV Lift Cabinets- the Perfect Solution to Tight Spaces

As strange as it sounds, TV lifts cabinets are a cool option to consider when you want to upgrade, but are stuck with tight spaces. It is all too easy to go overboard with small spaces, but the result is neither aesthetic nor functional. All you then have is a room full of clutter and potential tripping hazard. The challenge here is to optimize the space while still adding to the decor.

This is where the TV lift cabinet comes in. Many people opt for the TV lift cabinet because their bedroom is small. The most common problem here is the lack of wall space. A TV lift cabinet completely eliminates the need to put the TV up on the wall. It is a standalone piece of furniture that can be pushed into any corner, or, if you want to save even more space, go in for the "End of the bed" type of TV lift cabinet

The "End of the bed" cabinets are more streamlined and meant to occupy lesser space than the regular ones. It is not mandatory to place them at the end of the bed, but many customers
